FireNet Designs recently completed a rewarding project in collaboration with Highlighter Studio and Old foes. This project was a fantastic experience for the team and truly showcased our web design and development expertise. The end result was so well-received that the client personally thanked us with a heartfelt card and even sent some of their products as a token of appreciation.

The project's primary goal was to deliver a seamless and user-friendly e-commerce experience. To achieve this, FireNet Designs was responsible for custom theme development and implementing advanced features such as custom discount logic and product display page (PDP) customizations.
Custom Discount Logic:One of the main challenges of this project was the development of custom discount logic that allowed for stacking discounts on top of preset bundle discounts. This required the creation of a secret cart that enabled customers to benefit from multiple discounts, providing them with a superior shopping experience and incentivizing repeat purchases. This feature set our client apart from the competition and has been a key factor in driving their success.
Integration withRebuy Cart Engine:To further enhance the shopping experience, the custom discount logic was integrated with the Rebuy Cart engine. This powerful combination enabled the client to offer a seamless and engaging user experience, encouraging customers to add more products to their cart and complete their purchases. The integration allowed for the efficient management of discounts, bundles, and promotions, making it easy for the client to track and optimize their offers.
Multiple PDP Customizations:A significant aspect of the project was the implementation of multiple product display page customizations, aimed at delivering massive website copy in a concise and user-friendly format. Two main features were developed to achieve this:
1.Highlights Section: This section was designed to showcase the key features and ingredients of the products in an easily digestible format. By adding a comma-separated string to the metafields, the highlights section dynamically renders images associated with the text, providing a visually appealing and informative overview of the product.
2. Positive Ingredients Section: Similar to the highlights section, this feature allows the client to add a comma-separated string to the product metafields to display the ingredients and their associated benefits. The copy text is stored in Shopify metafields, making it easy for the client to manage and update the content. Additionally, the client can upload a CSV file containing the ingredient information, which is then converted to JSON using a quickly built functional app, ensuring a smooth and efficient content management process.
As part of the project, FireNet Designs also developed a basic maintenance website to ensure ongoing support and seamless performance. This website allows the client to easily manage their content, monitor website performance, and address any issues that may arise.
